{"id":2374,"date":"2017-08-28T11:11:24","date_gmt":"2017-08-28T05:41:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/old.anandandanand.com\/oldupdates\/?p=2374"},"modified":"2017-08-28T11:11:24","modified_gmt":"2017-08-28T05:41:24","slug":"national-workshop-enforcement-ip-rights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.anandandanand.com\/oldupdates\/national-workshop-enforcement-ip-rights\/","title":{"rendered":"National Workshop on Enforcement of IP Rights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The\u00a0Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM) organised a three-day National Workshop on Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights to take stock of strides made in IP enforcement.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pravin Anand was invited to join a panel of Rajiv Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, DIPP, and Louise Van Greunen, Director, WIPO to discuss IP practices around the world and success stories of IP enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>Rajnath Singh, Minister, Home Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State for Commerce &amp; Industry\u00a0and Finance and Corporate Affairs, and\u00a0Kiren Rijiju,\u00a0Minister of State for Home Affairs,\u00a0set the tone for the workshop.<\/p>\n<p>They called for nurturing creativity and innovation, and recognised commercialisation as being the fruit of labour.
